On October 1st the San Miguel court of appeals revoked the house arrest status of anarchist Enrique Guzman and ordered him to return to Santiago prison. It should be recalled that Enrique has been criminalized by the Chilean state for expressing solidarity and friendship with anarchist prisoners Juan Flores and Nataly Casanova. Juan and Nataly undertook a 30+ day hunger strike earlier this year, one of the core demands was the freedom of Enrique. Enrique was released but then returned to jail after an appeal by the prosecutors. Enrique had only been granted house arrest status a couple of days before it was revoked.
